
Before they head to the UK, Melbourne garage band BRITISH INDIA are shaking up New South Wales with six shows over the next two weeks on their national single launch tour for ‘God Is Dead (Meet The Kids).’
British India will play the “Garden Party” at Wollongong Uni on Thursday 12 March, the Newcastle Uni Bar on Friday 13 March then the Dusty Days Festival in Wagga Wagga on Saturday 14 March. The following week they’ll rock the Entrance Leagues Club on the Central Coast on Thursday 19 March, the Metro in Sydney on Friday 20 March and Manly Fisho’s in Sydney on Saturday 21 March.
The band will also be jumping aboard the BACARDI EXPRESS train at the end of March, stopping in Melbourne, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong and Sydney to put on rockin’ concerts with Groove Armada (UK) and Sydney siders Bluejuice, Van She and Lost Valentinos.
‘God Is Dead (Meet The Kids)’ is the second single from British India’s ARIA nominated album Thieves. The tune is out now through iTunes along with a previously unreleased song from the Thieves recording sessions called ‘Life Is Wasted On The Living’ as well as two live song ‘Teenage Mother’ and ‘Funeral’ recorded at The Metro in Sydney last year.
