While we’re awaiting our review model, I figured we should show this pretty little laptop to all our fashionista traffic here at I’m With The Band.

Without further adieu, meet HP’s Vivienne Tam Special Edition Notebook PC.

Making its debut on the catwalks of New York’s Fashion Week and now hitting the streets of Australia, the HP Vivienne Tam Special Edition Notebook PC marks the convergence of fashion and technology. Created in collaboration with world-renowned fashion designer Vivienne Tam, and sold exclusively through selected Myer stores, the HP special edition notebook is nicknamed the “digital clutch” and offers women a trendy, mobile and sophisticated miniature notebook that they can take anywhere.

Overview

Designed for the modern woman, the notebook brings together the latest fashions with innovative technology to keep all women connected to their busy lives.

“When I was approached by HP to create a special edition notebook, I could see the design in my head instantly,” said Vivienne Tam. “The notebook is a true reflection of the needs of a modern woman who cares about fashion but is also passionate about her technology. I wanted to create a notebook that would appeal to women of all ages, ethnicities and income levels across the globe.”

Gleaming with rich red colour, the notebook features peony flowers which burst across the front and are then carried meticulously inside and under the keypad. The peony design features a unique blend of Asian and Western cultures, antiquity and modern style, technology and fashion.

Building on the attributes of the popular HP Mini 1000, the HP Vivienne Tam Special Edition Notebook PC offers users the latest in technology capabilities including a powerful Intel Atom processer, 10.1-inch LED BrightView Infinity display and wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. At less than 1-inch thick, the sleek fashion-inspired digital clutch can be protected by and carried with a complimentary embroidered storage sleeve also designed by Vivienne Tam.

Myer Business Director of Entertainment, Neil Merola, is very excited about the launch of the Vivienne Tam-designed HP notebook exclusive to Myer this March. “Vivienne Tam is one of the hottest designers in New York and we are thrilled to be the first retailer in Australia to stock her beautifully designed notebook,” said Merola. “The new Vivienne Tam HP notebook offers our customers a stylish alternative to accessorise their technological look. Offering both style and functionality, this notebook will be the ‘must-have’ item for every fashionista this Winter.”

“Tech chic” virtual experience In addition to working with Tam on the new notebook design and accessories, HP has launched a fully integrated virtual experience to help fashionistas around the globe find design inspiration online. HP has created a virtual catwalk as well as a designer tour, which is hosted by Tam where you can experience the latest Vivienne Tam fashions and HP technology. Pretty sure you’ll need an XP Pro disk and an external USB 2.0 DVD / CD drive.. From there it’s pretty well a straight forward update..
