lg-renoir.jpgLG has just released a new phone by the name of Renoir, like the famous impressionist painter from the 19th century. And well we pretty well see a new phone every week these days, and while none has grabbed as much attention since the iPhone, I must admit I’m pretty damn impressed with this new addition to LG’s mobile phone line up.

Here’s a bit more info;

The LG Renoir, boasts top of the range camera capabilities, the latest multimedia features and at just 14 mm thick, it’s one of the slimmest 8 megapixel camera phone on the market.

8 Megapixel Camera – The LG Renoir has exceptional camera features, which allows you to get the best out of your photo. These features include Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, auto focus, face tracking and beauty shot.

Edit your photos and videos – Renoir’s Editing Suite allows you to edit both pictures and movies. With pictures you can add text, morph images and much more. With movies you can edit the length and merge your clips together.

Multimedia – Take advantage of DivX Video playback which will allow you to capture funny moments in high quality and watch it back on your TV with your friends.

MP3 player – Enjoy the convenience of music on the go. LG Renoir is the first handset to include Dolby Mobile, which brings clean, powerful bass to the music listening experience.

GPS – The embedded GPS receiver allows you to create an interactive map using your own photos. The Renoir also features ‘Jogging Buddy’ which uses GPS technology to help track workouts.

And on top of all this LG have put together a pretty cool website where you can see, play, and hear, the LG Renoir in action. Check it out here, and fingers crossed we get our hands on a review model soon.
