‘Wearing My Rolex’ has been a hit on Triple J and it’s easy to see why. With a distinct British underground sound, MC and producer Wiley, fuses rhythmic rap flows with minimalist house beats. ‘I Need To Be’ is an instant club anthem, with its thumping bass and soulful female vocals. While it’s not as dark or atmospheric, fans of Tricky’s music might find something to move to on See Clear Now. The album includes collaborations with Daniel Merriweather, Kano, Scorcher and Hot Chip. All worth checking out.
